Why Indian coconuts for export
India is the world's largest producer of coconut, with Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka producing over 14 billion nuts annually. Indian coconuts have a distinct flavour profile — sweeter water in tender nuts, thicker kernel in mature, and a recognisable shell quality that processors trust.
Three grades drive the Indian coconut export market: tender (drinking) for beverage and food-service buyers in the Gulf and Southeast Asia; mature dehusked for kernel processors and retail; and semi-husked for buyers who prefer presentation and longer shelf life.
ZoeM sources from cooperative farming networks across Pollachi (Tamil Nadu) and Palakkad (Kerala), with direct access to packhouses that handle dehusking, grading, polishing and palletisation. All shipments are NABL-tested for moisture, kernel weight, and acceptable husk percentage.
